Coastal Driver Training do not charge any administration fees or charges to use digital services provided to support your in car lessons. We use a set hourly rate and charge the same rates for the day of your driving test. Hourly rates are competitive with rival driving schools - always check for hidden charges prior to investing in your driving lessons. The initial price quoted for other providers may be misleading and not offer value for money. Coastal Driver Training keep things simple and cost effective. Prepay for 10 or more hours and receive a copy of the official DVSA guide to driving: the essential skills. If you prepay lessons this guarantees your regular weekly lesson date/time.
Additionally each new pupil receives a complimentary copy of the highway code and road sign guide from the DVSA.
Any unused hours can be refunded upon request.

The DVSA recommend that learners complete approximately 40 hours of driver training prior to attempting their driving test.
Pre-purchasing 20 hours of lessons makes an excellent gift for new learners serious about getting on the road and passing their driving test.
If you prepay lessons this guarantees your regular weekly lesson date/time. Any unused hours can be refunded upon request.
Premium bundle pupils receive a full learner pack of the DVSA guide to driving, theory test book, copies of the Highway Code and Know Your Road Signs in addition to a pack of Road Sign Flash Cards.
You can pay for your driving lessons with Coastal Driver Training using a wide range of payment options. All lessons must be prepaid at least 48 hours in advance of your actual lesson. You can pay in car using your Debit or Credit Card. We can take cash payments but the most convenient way of paying is normally for most students using a BACS payment from your bank account. Please enquire for BACS payment details. Please note we do have a 48 hour lesson cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend a lesson for any reason please contact us asap on 07308 275597 to ensure you do not incur a late lesson cancellation charge.
